ITC tutor Sarah Rouse with some of her group during the International Summer Holiday short course.
New Zealand’s border have been closed to all but residents and citizens for almost a year, but that hasn’t stopped ITC from building and maintaining relationships with international students.
In fact, ITC has recently provided a short course for international students here in New Zealand, and an opportunity for local students to watch a presentation from a high school in Japan.

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs gives students an opportunity to enjoy an international exchange.
Christmas, New Year’s, and the start of the summer have been the break that we all desperately needed. A time to simply relax, let the stresses of the year slip away, and give ourselves a break from overthinking what comes next.

Three students recently enrolled at ITC after finishing a high school short course with tutor Sarah.
It’s the start of a new year, but it’s undoubtedly a new year unlike any other. With so much upheaval, it’s been hard to tell if students are even thinking about their study options.
ITC is off to a positive start this year, meeting our future 2021 students. Recently we had the pleasure to meet three students who have signed up at once following a summer short course at their high school. (more…)

We’re welcoming in a bright new year and a fresh group of students at ITC, and what better way to do that than with an interview with a past graduate?
Aishwarya Rangarajan graduated back in 2008, and has since found a sparkling career in travel and tourism. We love hearing about our incredible graduates and keeping in touch as they make waves in the industry in in New Zealand and around the world.

Merry Christmas from everyone at ITC. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
After a rollercoaster of a year, ITC is about to have a little holiday break to give staff and students a truly well-deserved rest.
We will be closed from Friday 18th December until Monday 11th January.
We hope that these few weeks will allow everyone to spend plenty of time with loved ones, catching up and spreading the joy, sharing in-person hugs, and importantly, travelling all over New Zealand and enjoying the wonders our incredible country has to offer! (more…)

Thinking of taking a gap year in 2021? Why not take it at ITC?
The year 2020 was strange, difficult, and confusing. It’s no wonder than many young adults are feeling burnt out and unsure of what to do next.
In fact, we’ve heard that many students leaving school are thinking of taking a gap year while they figure out what to do. A gap year, but definition, is simply something that you do in between life stages.

ITC is moving to a four-day study week in 2021.
The International Travel College (ITC) has announced that it will shift to a four-day study week for students in 2021.
All ITC courses in levels 3, 4, and 5 covering a range of qualifications in the travel, tourism, and aviation industries will move to a Monday to Thursday schedule. This move also includes an update to study times, now running from 9am until 2.30pm each day. (more…)
