Another year, another wonderful ITC graduation. Staff, students, friends, family, and industry recently gathered at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre for an incredible evening of celebration and inspiration.

ITC students are capturing inspiring photos from their studies for a new competition.
Our new ‘Photo of the Month’ student competition is capturing all the best things about studying airline, travel, and tourism at ITC.
Students take photos of all the fun things they get up to while studying – like work experience, industry visits, and flight attendant training in the Airport Training Centre (just to name a few).
They then upload their photos to a private Facebook group to be in to win a $50 prezzy card. A new winner is drawn every month.

Midwinter Christmas cheer at ITC’s Auckland campuses.
Cure Kids, Heart Kids, and the Auckland City Mission have each received a donation from the International Travel College, thanks to money raised from midwinter Christmas celebrations.
Last week was ‘Midwinter Christmas Week’ at both the Botany and Auckland City campuses.
Each campus embraced the festive spirit, complete with decorations and a Christmas tree at both reception areas.

ITC recently hosted a Professional Development day for Qantas call centre staff.
One little-known fact about ITC is that we run professional development days with the likes of Explore Group NZ and Qantas.
Recently, staff from the Qantas call centre came into ITC for a fun day of training and team bonding.
The workshop was led by Daniel Maine, whose main role is short course tutor and marketing support.
Daniel is known for his enthusiasm, energy, and awesome sense of humour – and this workshop certainly ticked all of those boxes.

ITC graduate Brooke Manak says ITC helped her feel more confident and outspoken.
Welcome to ‘Be Inspired’. Every few months, we give you a ‘behind-the-scenes’ glimpse into the journey of an inspirational ITC student and share what it took for them to achieve their goals. Everyone climbs their own Everest, and these students hope to inspire others by sharing the truth of their journey to the summit.
Like many students, when Brooke Manak started studying at ITC she was quite shy.
Public speaking terrified her and she would get anxious before presentations.
But, thanks to ITC’s supportive tutors and learning environment, she slowly came out of her shell and gained the confidence to speak up and stand out.
