We have a NEW Whangarei classroom!
ITC has been hard at work preparing a brand new classroom for our Whangarei students – and it’s ready at last!
We’re excited to share the details of this wonderful facility, which is even more well equipped to welcome students, offers a large open space, and creates a natural, vibrant place to earn a valuable qualification.

Posted on 10/08/2023 by Hayley ClarkRobert Stiff was originally a short course student at Kamo High School in Whangarei, but it wasn’t long before he was hooked on tourism and enrolled for the Level 4 Certificate at our Whangarei (North Tec) campus.
Today, he’s working in an incredible job (that doesn’t even feel like a job, according to him), and considering his options for studying for a Level 5 diploma!

Posted on 11/11/2020 by Hayley ClarkEvery year, ITC takes students on famils – familiarisations – that include short trips of non-stop adventure and travel all over New Zealand.
These famils offer students the opportunity to experience some of New Zealand’s best tourism hotspots, take part in adventure activities, see beautiful scenery, and get an up-close-and-personal look at just how everything is run.
These events are not just incredibly fun highlights of the year for students, but a chance to dip their toes into the industry and get a taste for what their future careers might entail. (more…)
