Meet the graduate who just landed a job in Cabin Crew with Emirates!

We recently received an email from an ITC graduate with some of our favourite news to hear: “I had my last day of training yesterday and I’ve successfully passed everything. I’ve got my roster already and I start flying next week Thursday.”

That was from Lynelle Fisilau, a graduate who has been working incredibly hard to achieve her dreams of working in cabin crew.

First, we asked Lynelle’s tutor Inder for his thoughts on Lynelle’s journey:

“I know Lynelle will be a great role model for a flight attendant. We did a mock interview and interview techniques with her. She told me most of the questions asked in the interview were similar to the mock interview. I am really proud of Lynelle and I am sure she will be a valuable asset for Emirates.”

Naturally, we couldn’t wait to hear from Lynelle!

Back at school, but not sure it’s the best place for you?

Not sure if high school is the best place for you this year? There are other options!

It’s that time of year again when high school seniors go back to class. Some of them are excited to be back with friends and looking forward to their final year of study. Some others will be sitting in the same classes feeling like it’s simply not the place for them.

If that sounds like you, keep in mind that you are now a young adult, and can carefully consider this decision for yourself.

Not sure what you’re doing with your summer, or what happens after high school? Here are five reasons to enrol with ITC to start in November!

ITC is special for a lot of reasons, but just one of them is that we offer courses beginning in November!Students can choose from the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a strand in Tourism and Travel (Auckland City campus), or the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a strand in Aviation (South Auckland campus). Both courses are Level 3, and both are kicking off on November 25.

At ITC, we’re constantly thinking about ways we can offer a better education and a better service for our students.

We’re staffed entirely by a team of people passionate about travel and tourism, with more than 250 years of combined experience in the industry! We have a dedicated Employment Consultant who works with students to help them find and gain roles during and after study, and we’re always looking for ways to improve the everyday experiences of our students.

Study with ITC & get some of your fees for free!

ITC will remain a Fees Free provider in 2025!

When the ‘Fees Free’ program first came into place in New Zealand, it meant that tertiary students (those studying at universities and colleges like ITC) could get their first year of fees paid for by the government.

There have recently been some changes made to this policy, so from 2025, students will now be able to have their final year of fees paid for.

So what does this mean for ITC students?
