Meet the Study From Home student inspired by another ITC student!

Study From Home student and supermarket employee Savannah Larkin hopes to one day become a flight attendant (and we have no doubt she will achieve that goal!). But her story reminds us of another wonderful student, who was also working full time and dreaming of becoming a flight attendant – and is now doing just that!
In fact, that past student has inspired Savannah to follow in her footsteps (find out who below).

Why did you choose Study From Home?
I chose study from home as it was the best choice for me as I work part time in a supermarket. I loved the fact that the course is really flexible anywhere in New Zealand.
What are you currently studying?
I am studying NZ certificate in Travel (level 4) course.
What are your dreams when you graduate?
My dream when I graduate is to become a flight attendant for Air New Zealand or another airline. I’m really inspired by Ruby Roche (ex ITC student) and her journey to becoming a flight attendant. I want to start on the regional routes and then eventually move onto wide bodied, international aircrafts and travel the world.
What does your week consist of?
My typical week consists of four days of work and study. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
How have you found this platform and study journey?
I did a short flight attending course when I was at school and that was how I knew about ITC. Fast forward 3 years and then I started looking at the course options on ITC’s website and found the level 4 course.
What advice do you have for anyone considering studying from home?
Just go for it! If you have the passion and the desire, then there is no better time to start!
How has this course helped you?
I have learned so much from my studies currently, I love learning new things! The course is going to help me in the future with my career and it will give me the knowledge I’ll need.
