Meet one of our successful Disney Exchange applicants: Bea TerreblanchePosted on 02/08/2023 by Hayley Clark
For the last few months, we’ve been interviewing graduates who went through the Disney Exchange Program as part of our ‘Adventures After Disney’ series.
Now, we’re excited to introduce a one of the successful applicants for the 2023 Disney Exchange Program: Bea Terreblanche.
Bea will soon be jet-setting off to the United States to work in a variety of roles for Disney. She will gain a huge amount of experience in different parts of travel and tourism, and no doubt meet many other incredible young people from around the world who are embarking in this experience with her.
Before she heads away, we caught up with Bea to ask her a few rapid-fire questions about her upcoming trip.
What are you most looking forward to during the Disney program?
Getting to visit the parks for free during my time off. I’m also eager to see if stores like Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and Target are worth the hype.
Is there anything you’re nervous about?
Probably the large population of snakes and alligators that reside in Florida. It’s going to take some getting used to keeping an eye out for them.
How did ITC help you through the application process?
Sarndra was great. She helped Freddie and I so much and gave us plenty of information so we knew what to expect for every stage during the application process all on top of being our greatest hype-woman.
What are your ultimate career goals?
Once I finish my program I am planning to apply for Emirates as a flight attendant.
It’s never too early to think about Disney 2024
As we wish Bea all the best with her adventures (and look forward to keeping in touch and seeing how it all goes), we’re already preparing current and future students for the possibility of following in her footsteps.
And when you study with ITC, there’s a real chance that it could be you heading away as part of the 2024 Disney Exchange Program!
Get in touch to learn more about ITC, our travel and tourism qualifications, and how we can help you work your way towards this exciting, life-changing opportunity.
