ITC supporting students when enrolling from high school

ITC doesn’t just offer our own students training and education in travel, tourism, and aviation – we also have a dedicated Schools Programme that delivers short courses to high schools all over the country.
These short courses offer students the opportunity to earn NCEA levels 2 and 3 credits, and enjoy a taste of what the tourism industry is really like.
This is the time of year students make their decisions about further education beyond high school. At ITC we are here to make this process as easy as possible. One way we do this is by offering this process at their high school.
ITC visits high schools for enrolment days
Following our short courses, it’s common for students to show a real interest in taking their tourism and travel training to the next level by enrolling at ITC.
Our goal is to make that process as easy as possible, which is why we offer ‘mobile recruitment’.
Instead of students coming to us, we’re coming to them! Our recruitment teams will be visiting high schools where students have shown an interest in enrolling with ITC, where we will offer more information about our available courses, what life is like as an ITC student, and what kind of career our qualifications can lead to.
Students will be able to enrol on the spot and even invite a friend or family member. ITC is a whanau and we want to make sure that our students feel supported right from the very beginning of their journey with us.
This can also help the students in question by giving them the motivation they need to complete their studies, as they will already have locked in exciting plans for next year.
