ITC showcases tourism employers at special Career’s Day

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to meet top tourism employers and ask them about working in the industry.

But, that’s exactly what happened for the lucky attendees of ITC’s Career’s Day last week.

ITC held a special Career’s Day at Botany Campus on Friday 17th October, giving people the chance to meet recruiters from top employers, including Air New Zealand, Qantas, AJ Hackett, Jucy, Disney, Go Holidays, and Swissport.

People also had the chance to meet and speak with ITC graduates who are now leading exciting careers out in the industry.

“ITC Career’s Day was an incredible day of networking and learning,” says Mel Jenkins, ITC’s Marketing Manager.

“Attendees walked away with a real sense of excitement about the tourism sector. They saw firsthand what opportunities are available to them.”

Event organiser and course advisor Jackie Faamausili agrees.

“The industry has so much to offer once you put your foot in that door,” says Jackie.

“I’m proud to show people that there are amazing companies you can pursue a tourism career in. It was a successful event and I’m glad everyone enjoyed it.”
