ITC graduate Leandi’s journey has been incredible so far. Hear what she’s been up to!
The team at ITC is often as much a family as it is a college, as we stay in touch with our students and cheer on their successes as they gain experience in the industry and travel around the world.
We recently heard from an Auckland City Campus student, Leandri. Leandri was initially upset about not getting her dream job elsewhere, but ITC Employment Consultant Sarndra suggested an internship with International Working Holidays.
“We made some calls and the rest is history!”, explained Sarndra.
Here’s Leandri’s incredible update:
Working at Ocean Reef Club
“Ocean Reef Club has been honestly life changing for me. I love the position I’m in and absolutely adore the team, they feel like family. We are currently in our busy season here at ORC and oh my is it fun. Every day is a new challenge with me learning something new about myself every day.”
“In saying this, I thought to share some amazing news… I was one of the 5 staff members who got nominated “associate of the semester for the 4th quarter”, out of 1,300 staff members. No words can explain how much this means to me and it all leads to the assistance of both ITC and IWH throughout the past year.”

“Both ITC and IWH have not only pushed me out of my comfort zone but given me an opportunity of a lifetime. I remember sitting down having an interview with both companies wondering where my Level 4 certificate would take me, and I never thought it would be to literal heaven.”
“I could never thank either company enough for all the hard work put into my studies and visa process. I am actually thinking of coming home then re applying for a visa so I can come back!!”
