Find out if tourism and ITC is right for you with a FREE two-hour workshop

Have you considered signing up with ITC but just aren’t quite sure? Want to know more about our exciting industry? Would you prefer to do a trial run before making the commitment?

We have good news for you!

Our Whangarei, Auckland City, and South Auckland (Botany) campuses are all offering free two-hour workshops this month, so you can come along and ‘try before you buy’.

What the workshops will offer  

These workshops offer a taster for any students looking to explore the travel, tourism, and aviation industry at the tertiary level, and chance to find out more about our college.

They will include a tour of the campus, as well as a guest speaker who will talk about their own industry experiences.

Each workshop will also include a learning experience with a safety briefing and roleplay in Auckland’s on-site Airport Training Centre, or in Whangarei using real on-board equipment. This includes learning phonetics – popular aviation terminology – and an interactive activity used in airline crew training.

Workshops will also briefly cover the customer service aspect of the industry, and talk about the multitude of available careers in the industry, both here in New Zealand and around the world.

Finally, we’ll talk a little more about ITC, and how to enrol. And don’t forget, even though we’ve already begun our 2021 courses, it’s still not too late to join in!

How to sign up for a workshop

Workshops are free, so all you need to do is let us know you’ll be coming!

The first step is to determine the closest one to you and the dates.

• Whangarei: 11^th Feb 10am-12pm
• Auckland City: 16^th Feb 10am-12pm
• South Auckland: 17^th Feb 10am-12pm

Once you have picked your local ITC location, simply RSVP by emailing college@itc.co.nz or contacting us directly, even via Facebook messenger.

We have also set up events pages on Facebook, so you can even let us know you will be attending there!

All we need to know is your name, email address, contact number, and which workshop you will be attending. You’re also more than welcome to bring a friend or parent, so don’t forget to add their details as well so we know how many people to expect.
