The International Travel College of New Zealand has been providing training courses for the airline, airport, travel and tourism industries since 1996.
We have firmly cemented ourselves as a trusted leading supplier of these tertiary qualifications, and our wide network of industry contacts is a testament to our work in this space.
However, did you know that ITC is also so much more than that? Our in-person tertiary campuses are just part of what we do. We also operate Study From Home and Study From Work, two very different learning options.
What is Study From Home?
Study From Home is essentially ITC – but online!
This online learning option allows students anywhere in New Zealand to earn a valuable qualification in travel, tourism, or aviation all from the comfort of their own home. Students can choose from the same courses as are available through ITC, start at any time, then study at their own pace.
This is a fantastic option for anyone who doesn’t live near an ITC campus, but wants the fantastic career opportunities that come from a strong foundation in travel and tourism. Many students who earn their qualification with Study From Home work part-time (or even full-time jobs), take care of family, or have other commitments. That’s the beauty of this option – it is highly flexible and works with you.
Of course, students will also have full access to our tutors during study to help guide them through the work. Plus, students can chat to our Employment Consultants at any time (during or after study) to help find great work options, and to apply for those roles.

What is Study From Work?
Study From Work provides flexible online micro-credentials for the workplace. These courses are NZQA accredited and are designed specifically for managers and aspiring leaders who want to improve their skills and knowledge.
Currently, there are four micro-credentials available through Study From Work:
Learners can work their way through the course at their own pace with the full support of the ITC team. This includes video lessons, activities, tests, and exercises to make earning a micro-credential interactive, interesting, and instructive.
