Welcome to 2025 – Enrol with ITC and get started today!
Happy New Year! We’re so excited to usher in 2025 with some wonderful new groups of students in our classrooms.
So excited in fact, that our Auckland City Campus is opening today, January 8! Both Whangarei and Botany will be opening up on Monday, January 13 next week.
That means for anyone looking to kick start their year and their career, they can enrol right now and earn a valuable qualification in the travel and tourism industry.
Available course options
To get started, you’ll need to explore which study options are available to you.
- The New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a strand in Aviation (level 3): This level 3 courses started in late November, but it’s not too late to join in if you enrol now. This is an entry-level qualification where you’ll learn all the basics of the travel and tourism industry, with a focus on the aviation sector. It takes just 20 weeks, and is ideal for anyone looking to get into flight attending or working for an airline.
- The New Zealand Certificate in Tourism and Travel (level 3): This is our second option for an entry-level course, and it starts next month on February 17 at all three of our campuses, so you have some more time to enjoy the summer break before it starts! You’ll learn all the basics about working in the industry, and is a great course to take if you’re not sure exactly which area you’d like to work in.
- The New Zealand Certificate in Travel (level 4): This level 4 qualification is ideal for anyone who completed a level 3 course with us, or who has already achieved NCEA level 3 and has some work experience under their belt, but is now looking to upskill. This programme teaches a comprehensive range of skills for the industry, with a special focus on international travel and tourism. This course begins at our South Auckland campus this month on January 20, and next month at our Auckland City Campus on February 10.
How to enrol today
Our team will be back in the office on Monday January 13, but in the meantime, you can head to our enrolment portal and fill out the enrolment form. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible next week!

Upcoming free events

These ITC Family Open Evenings will be held at our Botany Campus and City Campus so you can explore the college, learn about our courses, and find out what kind of career you could have with a travel and tourism qualification from ITC.
