“Disney here we come!”: 14 ITC graduates accepted on Disney Cultural Exchange Program

Some of the talented ITC graduates who are heading to Disney World in August.
Hey, Disney World – are you ready for the awesomeness that’s coming your way?
14 talented ITC graduates have been accepted on the Disney Cultural Exchange Program, and 13 will arrive in Orlando in August (unfortunately one student cannot make it).
ITC graduates have been going to Disney World for many years, but this is the first time such a large group is going at once.
“It’s brilliant to see so many students taking up the opportunity to live and work at Disney World,” says ITC Employment Consultant Catherine Alder.
“The Disney Cultural Exchange Program is a wonderful chance for graduates to gain experience at one of the world’s most famous tourism destinations.”
Graduates will ‘live, learn, and earn’ at Disney World, staying in dorm-style accommodation alongside other young people from around the world. For many, it will be their first time living overseas without a parent or guardian.
The accommodation is within a ‘Disney World Resort’ which includes swimming pools, gyms, and tennis courts. There is also an on-site event planning team to organise social activities for the staff, such as dance parties and sports competitions.
“It truly is a very special experience,” says Catherine.
“Previous participants have returned home absolutely buzzing about their time at Disney World. It’s a great chance to work abroad right after you’ve finished studying – to jump into the world of international tourism with both feet!”
The 14 ITC students offered a place on the Disney Cultural Exchange Program are as follows:
- Emma Morris
- Nooroa Taua
- Nora Hoff
- Benjamin Strickland
- Sharon Tui
- Sharon Beardsmore
- Sharon Tupe
- Shania Wheatley
- Justine Pearce
- Jenny Zhang
- Etilose Fakahokotau
- Katherine Puepuemai
- Claudine Fa’avesi
- Paige Halpin
