One month until ITC 2018 Graduation

Posted on 03/07/2018 by

A proud ITC graduate poses with staff at last year’s graduation ceremony.

The countdown is on until ITC’s biggest event of the year: Graduation.

On August 2, hundreds of graduates will celebrate their achievements with family, friends, tourism industry representatives, and ITC staff at the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre.

The evening will begin at 6.15pm, with pre-ceremony drinks and cocktail food (an excellent chance to network and catch up with classmates and tutors), before the official ceremony opens with a special Kapa Haka performance.

It will be a night to remember, with plenty of laughter, happy tears, and proud moments as every graduate takes the stage to receive their certificate and enjoy their moment in the spotlight.

The winners of 2018’s ITC Awards will also be announced, such as ITC’s Student of the Year.

ITC only holds one graduation event per year, so there will be a diverse mix of students from different courses, including distance learning students.

Some students will have just finished their studies; others will have finished over six months ago and already be working in the tourism industry. This makes graduation even more special, as it’s an opportunity for everyone to come together for one big celebration.

It’s an adults-only event with a formal dress code — a wonderful excuse to dress up and enjoy a fun night out with friends and family.
