High school exams are just around the corner, and while there’s a huge push to study hard and get good results, there’s still a big question left – what’s next?
At ITC, we’ve made it easy to finish your high school studies and jump straight into earning a valuable, industry-recognised qualification. That’s because our courses start in November, so you won’t waste any time over summer. Instead, you’ll be counting down to graduation as your peers are counting down to starting their own qualifications in early 2025!
Read on to learn more about your options for level 3 qualifications in travel and tourism, and for how our current level 3 students are enjoying their studies.
Level 3 study options
There are two options for level 3 study, both of which are starting on November 25 this year.
The New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a Strand in Tourism and Travel is a great general introduction to the industry. It offers a particular focus on New Zealand destinations and customer service, so you’ll be ready for just about any job anywhere in the country.
The New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a Strand in Aviation is your introduction to working in the airline industry. That could be for anyone hoping to work as cabin crew, as ground support, or practically anywhere in an airport.
Both courses take just 20 weeks, so you’ll be finishing up in late March with a qualification that could be your foot in the door to your dream job!
How our current level 3 is going
As an example of just how fantastic these courses really are, take a look at our current level 3 classes. These courses both began in July and filled up quickly with a group of enthusiastic students looking to work in travel and tourism.
From site visits to role plays and more, these students have been engaging in hands-on learning that truly gives them the skills and knowledge they need to get out and work in the industry as soon as they graduate.
