ITC welcomes new students with a party!
One of our recent welcome party for new students.
The year has kicked off for ITC, with courses getting underway across our campuses in Auckland, Botany, and Whangarei.
And what better way to welcome those new students than with a party?
Our welcome parties
We have so far hosted two parties, one in Botany and one at the Auckland City Campus.
For these parties, we provided a delicious pizza lunch – always a hit! – and challenged the students to create a group TikTok. We also asked students to dress up as either their favourite hobby or something they love. That could be a Disney character, a sports player, a musician, or even just Mexican-style dress if they love Mexican food.
The goal was to help break the ice with all the students and tutors together, get everyone mingling and having a great time, and start the year well. Some students even put on fantastic cultural performances.
These students will be working hard together over the coming weeks as they earn their qualifications. Once they graduate, they will likely head into travel and tourism roles all over the country (and perhaps the world!), and many of them will keep in touch with the friends they made and the team at ITC.
