ITC raises over $600 for the SPCA

Students from ITC’s Botany Campus recently held a bake sale to raise money for the SPCA.
The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) is supporting the wonderful work of the SPCA. Students recently held a bake sale at the Botany Campus and raised a generous $636.70.
It was an amazing day for everyone involved, filled with great company and delicious treats – and all for a great cause.
“Well done everyone, what an awesome effort!” wrote ITC tutor Catherine Alder to the students on Facebook.
“You made a massive $636.70 for the SPCA and the fur babies. And my tummy thanks you too!”
There was a wide variety of baked goods on sale, from brightly-coloured cupcakes to indulgent chocolate brownie and everything in between. Many students also went the extra mile and decorated their baking with animal-themed icing.
The bake sale topped off a busy week at the Botany Campus – where there’s always something fun happening. Just a few days earlier, brand new classes enjoyed a team building session in the Airport Training Centre. Also in the same week, students attended a talk from IDNZ about cruise jobs over the summer.
Would you like to check out Botany Campus for yourself? The College is holding an Open Day this Thursday (October 6) at both Botany Campus and City Road Campus. Pop in for a behind-the-scenes peek at what it’s like to study at ITC.
