ITC opens Christchurch campus in partnership with SIT
The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) is bringing its industry-leading airline, travel and tourism qualifications to Christchurch.
ITC will be delivering Level 3 and Level 4 NZQA courses at the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) from mid-March this year.
“We are incredibly excited to bring our industry-leading qualifications to Christchurch,” says ITC Marketing Director Claire Huxley.
“We have had a strong presence in the South Island for a long time, thanks to our short courses and our Study From Home programme. However, this exciting milestone means South Island students will now be able to attend our full-time, in-class courses, and learn first-hand from our highly experienced tourism tutors.”
ITC will deliver two qualifications – one at Level 3 and one at Level 4 – with a possibility of adding further qualifications in the years to come.
- New Zealand Certificate of Tourism with a Strand in Tourism and Travel (Level 3)
- New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4)
Both courses will be taught at SIT, located at 60 Waterloo Road, Hornby.
“We are delighted that SIT has provided us with the opportunity to deliver our courses in Christchurch,” says Claire.
“The courses will be identical to those we deliver at our Auckland campuses. They will be delivered by ITC tutors, using ITC resources, and backed by ITC’s 20+ years in the tourism training industry.”
Are you interested in studying at our Christchurch campus? We are having an Open Day this Tuesday 13 February between 9am and 12.30pm at 60 Waterloo Road, Hornby. We’d love to see you! Please contact ITC Project Manager Ceri Jenkins (ceri@itc.co.nz) for more information.
