Introducing the first class of the next 20 years

Posted on 18/10/2016 by
The first class of the next 20 years recently started at the College.

ITC’s first class of the next 20 years recently started at the City Campus.

The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) is currently celebrating its 20th birthday. Students have been treated to cake, presents, and even a day off. But this special birthday is about so much more than celebrating past success – it’s also a chance to celebrate the future.

With this in mind, we’re proud to introduce you to our first class of the next 20 years: The 16NZCT3-09s.

Meet ITC's first class of the next 20 years.

ITC’s first class of the next 20 years pose for a photo during a recent visit to a local Marae.

“Class 16NZCT3-09 is a diverse group, consisting of young New Zealanders and international students from Samoa, China, Korea, and Brazil,” says their tutor, Titaina O’Loughlin.

“They come from a variety of backgrounds but are all united by one common focus: their goal to have a successful career within the travel industry.”

The new class started in September and is currently studying towards the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a Strand in Tourism and Travel Level 3. This 20-week course is an excellent introduction into the world of travel and tourism. It’s also the perfect pathway into the New Zealand Certificate in Travel Level 4.

The students are already great friends and are thoroughly enjoying their course.

“They participate well and actively contribute to class activities and lessons,” says Titaina.

“Along with the knowledge and resources of ITC, I will encourage and support them all until they graduate.”

Here’s to the next 20 years!

ITC is enrolling now for 2017 – call 0800 868 747 or email to register your interest.
