Fill your mid-winter with something meaningful – Join our Level 3 course!

Posted on 29/05/2024 by

Not sure what to do this winter? Why not earn an internationally recognised qualification with ITC?

As the days get colder and the evenings are darker, you might be wondering what to do with your winter.

With our upcoming Level 3 course, you can enrol now and start studying on July 22 – so you’ll be graduating in time for summer!

Read on to learn more.

FREE info sessions in Auckland these school holidays

ITC is excited to host two completely FREE events these July school holidays!

On July 9, you’re invited to our free International Exchange event. This will give you all the information you need to learn more about how you can join an international exchange. You’ll meet an expert from International Working Holidays (IWH), take an ITC campus tour, and meet our Employment Consultant to find out how you can head overseas for study and work experience.

On July 18, you’re welcome to come along to our free Flight Attending event! Flight attending is one of the most popular career goals for ITC students, and many of our graduates are working in these roles here in New Zealand and around the world. Come along to this two-hour session for a presentation from a cabin crew member, and to meet our Employment Consultant to learn how you can study for this exciting career.

Both events occur at our Auckland City Campus from 10am to noon, then at our Botany Campus from noon to 2pm.

Interested? Let us know you’re coming with our RSVP form here!

Enrolling now: The NZ Certificate in Tourism

You don’t have to come to an info session to be able to enrol – you can enrol online right now if you want to!

We’re enrolling now for the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism with a strand in Tourism and Travel. This is a level 3 course and a great first step for any career in the industry.

All you need to enrol is NCEA level 2, but if you don’t have that, you may still be able to join if you have some other work experience – get in touch with us to chat about this option!

During this course, you’ll learn the basics about working in travel and tourism, from customer service and cross-cultural communications, to travel requirements and documentation.

Plus, ITC isn’t all book work. We include site visits, roleplays, projects, open-book assessments, case studies, and more to keep the subject matter interesting and relevant for learners. We even teach you all about creating a CV, writing cover letters, and attending interviews!

This course begins at our Auckland City Campus on July 22, so enrol now and get your winter plans sorted – so you can graduate in early summer just in time to find work for the busy summer tourist season.

Contact us here with any questions about enrolling, the course itself, and where an industry-recognised qualification from ITC can take you.
