All about the New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4)

The New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4) will prepare you for an exciting career in airline, travel and tourism – in New Zealand and overseas.

Do you love to travel?

Do you dream about working overseas one day?

Would you like to learn about New Zealand tourism and international tourism markets?

If you’re enthusiastically nodding yes, then the New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4) could be the perfect course for you.

This 21-week course will prepare you for an exciting career in the airline, travel and tourism industry – in New Zealand and abroad.

You’ll study topics such as:

  • Key international travel markets
  • Popular tourist destinations in NZ and around the world
  • Online fares & ticketing systems (including AMADEUS, which is used by many international airlines)
  • Working on cruise ships

Course length: 21 weeks
Next start date: 14 August

After just 21 weeks of fun, fast-paced study, you’ll be armed with the knowledge to apply for a job in the airline, travel and tourism industry. You might choose to work at an airport, for an airline, for a travel agency, on a cruise ship, as a tour guide – you’ll have so many options!

You’ll graduate with up-to-date knowledge about domestic and international tourism, as well as an ITC Career Preparation Certificate (which will help give you the confidence to apply for jobs).

Here’s what some of our graduates have to say about the New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4).

“I studied Level 4 and then I went on the Disney Cultural Exchange Program. I made amazing friends, met people from all over the world, and experienced life-changing moments every day,” says ITC graduate Michelle.

Another graduate, Greer, studied Level 3 and Level 4 and now works as a Sales Specialist for Jucy Rentals. She encourages future students to make the most of the opportunities they have at ITC.
