New Zealand has long been a fantastic destination for tourism, and more recently, it has become increasingly popular as a destination for major events.

When an ITC student goes on work experience, they could be meeting their future employer for the first time.
Many students who participate in work experience end up working for that employer later down the track – sometimes as soon as one week later.
For example, Brookglenn Olsen recently started a job at InterCity after doing work experience there in late November. She got a call one week after her work experience offering her a job. It’s been a week of job-related celebrations at the International Travel College (ITC). Yesterday we announced that 50 ITC students were employed by Renaissance Tours and today we are celebrating the success of Lisa Chen, who recently started a new part-time job at Base Backpackers in Auckland.
Lisa is an international student from China and is currently studying towards a Level 5 Diploma in International Tourism and Travel Management.
