ITC to host an ECC Japanese College in September

Posted on 27/07/2022 by

ITC is looking forward to hosting students from an ECC Japanese college in September.

ITC is proud of our connections. We stay in touch with students and support them long after they graduate, we have a number of contacts in leading tourism and travel providers around the country, and importantly, we also maintain contacts with related companies overseas.

One of those contacts is Gina & Partners, an agency that helps students to study abroad and find working holidays in New Zealand, and they have recently asked if we would help to host students from an ECC Japanese College in September.

So now, ITC is looking forward to hosting students from an ECC Japanese College in September!

ITC hosting Japanese students in New Zealand

When the group of Japanese students arrives in New Zealand, ITC will greet them and host them for a week at the Auckland City Campus.

Our Auckland City Campus Manager Michelle Chatfield has already had an opportunity to meet with a representative from the ECC Japanese College in preparation for their arrival.

While they’re here, ITC will facilitate an Airline Cabin Crew workshop to give them a fun introduction to learning about New Zealand’s travel and tourism industry. They’ll learn about cabin crew roles and the New Zealand aviation industry, and get a chance to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes.

ITC for international students

ITC welcomes international students to our courses for exciting opportunities to learn about travel and tourism, and to earn valuable qualifications that will help you gain employment here in New Zealand and around the world.

As a Signatory to the Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners code of practice, we are committed to looking after our international students, which means we help to ensure our international students are safe, respected and supported, connected socially, and more.

We work hard to help international students feel welcome in our courses, and our small class sizes foster lifelong friendships and connections amongst students. We do not have large amphitheatres full of students – just small classrooms where everyone can get to know one another.

If you’re an international student considering studying in Auckland, making lifelong friendships and connections, and working in the travel and tourism industry anywhere in the world, ITC can help.
