ITC launches Industry News Bulletin
The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) today launches an Industry News Bulletin, a weekly round-up of the latest news from the airline, travel and tourism industries.
This bulletin is designed to keep ITC staff, students, stakeholders and industry partners informed about recent developments in the sector.
The winner of multiple awards, ITC is a leader in its field and renowned for teaching the most up-to-date, relevant skills needed for the tourism industry. In order to stay ahead of the game, the team at ITC is always reading and digesting the latest research, so sharing this information publicly is a logical next step.
Having access to the most recent news is especially important in the tourism sector, considering how fast this indusry is growing in New Zealand and overseas.
“The tourism industry is quite possibly the biggest industry on the planet, with many countries relying on it as their main source of income,” says Megan Singleton, Travel Writer, Blogger and Presenter (for more information about Megan, please visit her website Blogger at Large).
“ITC’s work in this field offers the most comprehensive training across all aspects of the travel and tourism industry that I know. Their multiple awards testify to their success in graduating students who find jobs in the sector, and their outstanding lecturers and staff ensure they remain at the top of the field when it comes to understanding the future of tourism.”
The ITC Industry News Bulletin will be published on a weekly basis on the ITC Blog. If you would like to receive updates straight to your inbox, please follow the blog or send ITC Marketing Executive Jess O’Connor an email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Instead of reading lots of Tweets, Facebook posts, newsletters and emails, we will compile the news for you in a weekly snapshot! It won’t be content heavy, we will just give you the highlights, and if you are keen to know more we will point you in the right direction,” says ITC Marketing Director Claire Huxley.
“So if you are job hunting, networking or working in the industry, you can feel informed about what is going on without spending hours reading every single email!”
“We hope you enjoy the ITC Industry News Bulletin and that it helps save you some time. Any feedback would be gratefully received,” Jess added.
