Cake, cake, and more cake!

The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) is caked out. Earlier this month, we treated all staff and students to a piece of delicious cake to celebrate our 20th birthday – resulting in a mild but totally-worth-it ‘cake hangover’.
“It was cake overload!” says ITC Marketing Director Claire Huxley.
“We ordered a giant cake for the morning and afternoon classes at both campuses. It was wonderful to take some time out of the day to celebrate this special occasion.”
ITC graduates also took to social media to give the College their best wishes.
“Happy birthday. Made my dreams come true. Miss you all – both City and Botany,” wrote Rebekah Gillard.
The cake may be finished now, but ITC’s 20th Birthday celebrations are far from over. We still have a few party tricks up our sleeve – we’re celebrating two decades, after all.
For example, we’re currently in the process of collecting stories from past staff and students – you can expect some fascinating blog posts in the weeks to come.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the response so far,” says Claire.
“More than 115 people have submitted their story – and counting!”
