Auckland Airport and ITC Volunteer Work Experience Programme
One of the benefits of studying with ITC is the great industry connections we have. One of those connections is with Auckland Airport, and we have placed over 20 proactive students in volunteer roles as Domestic Terminal Airport Hosts. This is a fantastic stepping stone to a career in the aviation, travel and tourism industries.
This position will give you loads of customer service experience with people from various cultures and walks of life. Volunteers all wear the very smart black and red uniform, which stands out to passengers and potential future employers. Many students have been noticed delivering exceptional customer service, which has led them to permanent roles within the airport.
Students love these volunteer roles – they regularly tell us how exciting and dynamic the airport environment is – not to mention the famous people they spot while on duty. Being a volunteer at the airport will take you places. So make sure you jump at the chance to apply for ITC’s work experience roles, as you never know where they might take you.
