Prepare for your career as a flight attendant with our Cabin Crew training and FREE Information Guide!
Flight attending is a very popular career, and the competition for the limited jobs available is very tough! Less than 4% of applicants to airlines make it through to join cabin crew and become a flight attendant, so you have to be well prepared to make it through!
Airlines around the world carry out their own cabin crew training in order to prepare their crew for service and safety training on their own specific aircraft and to their particular in-house style. They recruit staff who have the potential to succeed, who meet their entry criteria in terms of age, weight/height ratio, personal presentation, and whose previous experience and qualifications match their requirements.
"What can I do to improve my chances?!"
- Work experience in the customer service/hospitality industry is important.
- Travel experience would be an advantage - particularly overseas experience.
- You`ll need a qualification! Preferably one that is tailored for a customer service industry, such as travel, tourism, or hospitality.
"How can the International Travel College help?"
All our courses include a Certificate in Cabin Crew Preparation that is recognised by airlines around the world, and in-house flight attending workshops that prepare you for the rigorous application process and the job itself.
That's all you need!
