Celebrating Student Success at the Seasonal Graduations

Summer Graduation A beautiful graduation was held at the Hopetoun Alpha - a great venue for a Big Night! The Jamaican Barbecue theme was a real hit and suited the warm summer evening. Our special industry guests, Fiona Cameron from Tourism Auckland and Robyn Littin from Go International presented Diplomas to more than 150 students - some with Merit or Distinction Awards. Spring Graduation was a great start to summer!	Our Spring Graduation was a high point in the calendar - our largest event for 2002 with more than 150 guests gathered together over cocktails and canapes! With many friends and family present to support the graduating students we celebrated the success of five student groups, including the 2002 IATA class and the January Advanced Diploma group - the first group of 2002. Michelle Chatfield, Graduation Project Leader, joins Katherine de Haast (Careers Tutor) and Claire Huxley (Marketing & Business Development Manager) in celebrating the event.
	Winter Graduation During August we celebrated in style with our Winter Graduation held in the AXA function suite in downtown Auckland. The winter theme was picked up by the staff there, who donned woolly hats, scarves and gloves, and the place looked great with fake snow, icicles and even a Christmas Tree! The evening marked the fantastic achievements of a number of classes who had been studying since 2001, together with our first graduates for 2002. A number of Special Awards were presented, together with Diplomas with Merit and Diplomas with Distinction, the first time such awards have been made to graduates of The International Travel College. These special Diplomas are presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in academic results.
	Autumn Graduation Our Autumn Graduation was held within the Autumn Graduation, held within the College premises, and the staff team had transformed the fourth floor into an Autumn wonderland with beautiful decor, lighting and music. The evening featured the presentation of Diplomas together with a number of Special Awards, all helped along with generous amounts of champagne and delectable food.
