HELP!! Staff needed now!!

There are currently many vacancies in the airline, travel and tourism industry here in New Zealand. Our dedicated careers advisors offer all ITC students help into the workplace, from CV preparation right through to the final interview. Many employers and recruitment agencies approach ITC first with their vacancies in order to get the best graduates. This gives our students a head start when looking for that first job and that's why so many ITC students are working in the airline, travel and tourism industry!

Car rental A106  Full time  Auckland Airport  Rental Sales Agent.  Provide a quality and professional service to all internal and external customers.  Must have good communication skills, the ability to work well in a team and unsupervised, have a full driving licence and be able to drive both mannual and automatic cars. 
Travel Agency  N101  Full time  Auckland CBD  Travel consultant.  Based within a very busy backpackers.  More information to follow. 
 Airline J 104  Full time  Short Haul   Flight Attendant.  We are looking for graduates who have displayed they have maturity, a positive attitude, genuine, love working with people from all walks of life and hard working. You must be entitled to work in New Zealand - If applicant has a foreign passport they need to have NZ Permanent Residency with "multiple entries" and stamped "indefinite".Minimum age of 18 years. Height between 163cm and 183cm. Do you hold a current passport (validity of 12 months with unrestricted access to all Qantas Destinations. Hold a Workplace First Aid Certificate with at least 12 months validity. Excellent health and fitness. Able to swim 50 metres and lift approx 28kgs.
Adventure tourism  S102  Full time  Auckland 

Full Time DVD operator.  The successful candidate  must have experience using a MAC, particularly using Mac programmes EyeTV and Toast.   Frontline customer service role with the ability to upsell merchandise.  Must have a head for heights.

 Travel agency A104  Full time Auckland 

Travel consultants are expected to utilise their knowledge of travel products to effectively and efficiently provide quotes and booking services to customers via email and phone.    Specific skills required in role: knowledge of a GDS system,  customer service experience,  basic travel knowledge, attention to detail, prepared to be flexible as the team operates between 8am – 6pm.

Theme Park  R101  Full time  Auckland  We are now recruiting part time staff for weekend work and the upcoming September school holidays.  We also have some part & full time positions available. Most roles involve customer service work with a diverse customer base. Experience is preferred but not essential.  If this sounds like you and you're a person with a friendly and bubbly personality apply now.
 Car Rental  A101  Full time  Auckland Airport Senior Rental Sales Agent.  Demonstrate Service Excellence orientation.  Identifying customer needs and making customer satisfaction a high priority. Ensuring sales and team targets are achieved. Continually ensuring employees are aware of current policies and procedures. Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with quality assurance guidelines. Reconciling and banking all cash transactions from all RSA’s at the location. Carry out all duties with limited supervision. Ensure the work area is clean, safe and free from hazards. Printing and actioning relevant reports and documents. Performing other duties as required by management
 
Car Rental A103  Full time   Auckland Airport 

Rental Sales Agent.    The ability to work as part of a team.  Judgement  problem solving skills.   Ability to work unsupervised. Good oral and written communication skills.  Basic keyboard skills.  A current full New Zealand driver’s licence.  The ability to drive both manual and automatic cars.

Tourism operator    S101  Full time Auckland CBD  A varity of roles available for one of Aucklands largets employers.  Vacancies available across the business such as in their hotel, bars and casinos.  Also opportunies in their other businesses throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Hotel  L101  Full time  Auckland CBD Variety of roles in 5 star hotel. 

PART TIME ROLES

Car rental J105  Part time  Auckland CBD  Customer Sales Representative.  Come and work for a fun funky business with huge scope for career development.  Successful candidate will be a quick thinker and the sort of person who will not want to wait to be told what to do.   Not  the same role as J102.

Here are the steps for applying for one of these great ITC listed jobs. This is open to all our current or past ITC students.

Step 1 Prepare a quality CV (see your home tutor or use one of our online templates)

Step 2 E mail your CV and the reference number for the chosen job to either cvcity@itc.co.nz, cvbotany@itc.co.nz or cvdl@itc.co.nz depending on which campus you attend or attended.

Step 3 The campus manager will contact you with a job description for the role and will give you advice on applying for the role and if required improving your CV.

Step 4 Your CV will be forwarded to the chosen company and they will then be in touch with you directly if they wish to offer you an interview.

Step 5 Get ready to make an inpact, make sure you have suitable interview clothes.

Step 6
Contact the chosen campus manager if you are offered an interview.  If you require more information before you move to Step 2 please contact your home tutor or campus manager.
