The International Travel College working with industry employers

ITC works closely with airline, travel, tourism and hospitality employers to ensure that our students have the best range of skills, knowledge and personal qualities that the industry needs from its' staff. Graduates are highly sought after by employers looking for work-ready staff who have realistic expectations, enthusiasm and motivation to succeed!

ITC also offer a unique work experience programme for all students. This a chance for students to see what working in the industry is really like. There are many particpants in the programme from hotels, youth hostels, travel companies, wholesalers, car hire companies and many more.

Because ITC courses all include a broad range of computing skills, technical subjects and personal development training, our students are able to choose from a wide range of employment options at graduation.

Each year ITC hosts two Industry Expo events, where over 16 industry employers come to ITC and speak to our graduates about their company, the employment opportunities and tell their experiences of working in the Industry. Many guest speakers are ex ITC graduate's, so they can talk from their experience and know it feels to be studying and looking ahead to the future. Initiatives with industry include the ITC participation at the TRENZ Expo held regularly in Auckland. ITC students work at the Expo centre meeting and greeting exhibitors and buyers from overseas, and have the opportunity to network with a range of employers.
