| It is important to note that all airlines deliver their own in-house training for new recruits to flight attending. This is standard international practice, and ensures that each airlines' safety and service standards and procedures are closely followed.
This means that prior to securing a position within an airline there is no external (College based) dedicated flight attending training course that airlines require or recognise in connection with their recruitment of new flight attendants.
We recommend that students check with airlines prior to enrolling on any dedicated flight attending courses.
Students interested in pursuing a career within an airline should consider the Certificate in Travel and Tourism or the Certificate in Airline & International Travel Agency Operations. Both courses include training in international air travel, international fares & ticketing, airport and terminal check-in procedures, together with the full flight attending workshop training.
If you have access to a computer and the internet you may prefer to study online? If so, checkout our Cabin Crew course - a great introduction into the role of flight attendant, and an excellent way of preparing for your new career. Click through here for more information.
